Patrick Morrissey and Clive Hanz Hancock

Patrick Morrissey and Clive (Hanz) Hancock are artists working jointly from studios in

Greenwich, London. They work within the discipline of the international concrete/

reductive movement which has its origins in the mid-20th century.

The two artists form a small collective, and their work reflects this, while retaining their own

personal identities. This 'collective' approach has led them to develop an ongoing

programme of group exhibitions in which they curate other artists working in the same

sphere.

Recent exhibitions have included Saturation Point at Gallery on the Corner, Battersea,

London, and Top Floor, Hoxton Square, as part of London’s Frieze Art Fair. Early in 2012,

Morrissey and Hanz will participate in Gridlist, a curated event showing in Detroit’s Center

Gallery and New York’s Allegra La Viola Gallery; see Future Events.
